“Lay off that confidence stuff!” Not quite verbatim, but something close to that. I won’t say who it was, but I’ve always assumed there was an ulterior motive behind his admonition to his students.

You see, confidence is key. You can go a long way with confidence alone. Sure, makes it hard to sell dating products, but there you go.
